Located a short distance from the Las Vegas Strip in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Black Canyon, is truly one of those unique places to visit. This canyon, formed over millions of years by volcanic activity, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the river's edge.
The Black Canyon Raft Tour departs from the Lake Mead RV Village in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. From here board a raft for a trip downstream, through spectacular and historic Black Canyon with a beach stop for lunch before arriving at Willow Beach Marina - on the northern reaches of Lake Mohave. Disembark at our full-service marina where you'll have time for a bit of shopping and refreshment before boarding comfortable tour buses for the ride back to the Black Canyon River Adventures location for drop off or continuation on to Las Vegas (depending on tour).
Venture down to the waters emerging below Hoover Dam and explore incredible Black Canyon on the Colorado River.
Want a historic experience on the river? Try the Colorado River Exploration Tour into the Black Canyon. This tour starts with a trip back in time on a scenic ride to Eldorado Canyon with a visit to the historic Techatticup Mine, followed by a raft ride up the Colorado River, lunch on a beach, continuing on from Willow Beach Marina for a photo stop at Hoover Dam.
Don't have all day to spend on the river? Take the Hoover Dam Postcard Tour that allows visitors to view Hoover Dam and the new bypass bridge from the river - a rare view indeed. This tour is a great addition to a tour of Hoover Dam and completes the experience from top to bottom.
