Located a short distance from the Las Vegas Strip in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Black Canyon, is truly one of those unique places to visit. This canyon, formed by the Colorado River, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the rivers edge.

It's from this restricted-access vantage point that Black Canyon raft tours depart for smooth water float trips downstream.

Choose from a short "postcard" tour that allows visitors to view Hoover Dam and the new bypass bridge from the river - a rare view indeed. Or get on board for a float downstream, through spectacular and historic Black Canyon to Willow Beach Marina - on the northern reaches of Lake Mohave.

The full-service marina is our take-out point and you'll have time for a bit of shopping and refreshment before boarding comfortable tour buses for the ride back to the Black Canyon River Adventures location for drop off or continuation on to Las Vegas (depending on tour).

The closest airport to Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures is McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Take Interstate 215 east, then take Highway 93 south to Boulder City. Continue on Highway 93 in Boulder City and turn left at the Buchanan Boulevard intersection (second stop light in Boulder City) toward the Hoover Dam. Turn left into the Hacienda Hotel & Casino parking lot. The check-in desk is located inside the Hacienda Hotel.

Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures will provide round trip transportation from various Las Vegas hotels if needed or you can choose to meet us at our check-in desk located in the Hacienda Hotel & Casino on Highway 93 just outside of historic Boulder City. You will then be transported on our tour buses to the launch area at the base of the Hoover Dam.

Please note: we are near the Hoover Dam, which has no street address. Those who want to use an Internet map service should try one that is not based on street addresses.
